What your event gets.

Live tracking that works for the people out on the course, and for everyone at home willing them on.

  • Every entrant on one map

Each entrant is a live dot on your course, with how far they’ve come and when they’ll finish. Anyone can find an entrant by name, if that entrant allows it.

  • The weather where each one is

For riders, the course is coloured by the wind on every stretch, timed to when they get there. For runners, by the heat at their pace. From Apple Weather, worldwide.

  • Followers anywhere

Family and fans open your race map, your page or an entrant’s own link in any browser, on any phone or computer. No app to install and no account.

  • Goals, and taps on the back

An entrant’s goal time rides or runs beside them as a ghost, so followers see if they’re ahead or behind. Anyone following can send a tap on the back, and the entrant sees each one arrive.

  • Your page at livedot.me/yourname

Your races: what’s live, what’s next and what’s been, for cycling and running on one page. One address for your club or series, all year round.

  • Free for everyone

No fee for you, your entrants or anyone following. livedot, Windline and RunFast are free, thanks to our platform sponsor, ProLend.

Your whole field, live.

The race map shows everyone on the course at once, out front to the back of the field, with the course drawn in. Tap anyone to follow them.

  • Everyone who chose to be seen, live on the course
  • Find an entrant by name
  • Finishers stay on the map for 6 hours

The weather where they are.

The course is coloured by what’s coming at each person: the wind for riders, from a strong tailwind to a strong headwind, and the heat for runners. Beside their numbers: the wind here, the heat here.

  • Riders: the wind when they get there, stretch by stretch
  • Runners: the heat, timed to their pace
  • The same forecast the apps use, on every screen

Their goal, and a tap on the back.

When an entrant sets a goal, a ghost rides or runs it beside them, so followers see how far ahead or behind they are as it happens. Anyone following can send a tap on the back from wherever they are.

  • Their goal on the map, as a ghost
  • Ahead or behind goal, to the minute
  • Taps on the back, counted for them

How it works.

Your entrants do the tracking with the free app for their sport. Everyone else just opens a link.

  1. Tell us about your event

Fill in the form below. A person at livedot replies by email and sets up your page and your race with you: the course, the date and your address at livedot.me.

  2. Your entrants get the app

Riders use Windline and runners use RunFast, both free. Each one joins your race in the app, chooses who can see them, and can set a goal time.

  3. On the day, they go live

They start live tracking on their phone and ride or run. Everyone following sees them on your race map and your page, and tracking stops by itself at the finish.

Your entrants choose who sees them.

Live tracking is theirs to switch on, and theirs to stop.

  • Each entrant chooses: people they approve, anyone they send their link to, their club’s members
  • Found by name only if they switch on Findable by anyone
  • Never an email address or a phone number on show
  • Raw positions deleted after 7 days; a race’s line and the names on taps after 30

Questions organisers ask.

What does it cost?

Nothing. livedot, Windline and RunFast are free for organisers, entrants and everyone following, thanks to our platform sponsor, ProLend.

Where in the world does it work?

Anywhere. The weather comes from Apple Weather, worldwide, and distances show in kilometres or miles. Where a phone loses signal, it keeps every position and sends them when the signal is back, and followers see when the entrant was last seen.

Do followers need an app or an account?

No. They open your race map, your page at livedot.me or an entrant’s own link in any browser, on any phone or computer. Signing in only puts their name on the taps on the back they send.

Which phones can entrants use?

Entrants go live from the Windline app for cycling or the RunFast app for running. Both are on Android today, from windline.tech/android and runfast.tech/android, and both iPhone apps are with the App Store for review (October 2026).

Which events can go live?

Races: road races, stage races, sportives and gravel races on Windline, and road races, trail races and ultras on RunFast. livedot lists races only: tours, group rides and club runs keep their own live tracking in the apps. Organising a race in another sport? Tell us about it in the form.

Who can see an entrant?

Each entrant chooses: people they approve, anyone they send their link to, their club’s members, and, only if they switch it on, anyone who searches their name. livedot never shows an email address or a phone number.
