How it counts.

Runs recorded in RunFast, or uploaded and checked. Every kilometre, once.

  • Record in RunFast

Tap Record a run on any route, road or trail. Your kilometres count as you go, whether or not anyone is watching.

  • Or upload a FIT or GPX

From your Garmin, COROS, Polar, Suunto or any running watch. Each file is checked automatically: the dates, and that it was really recorded.

  • Strava, once it’s open

When RunFast’s Strava connection opens to everyone, your Strava runs count toward your own total. The leaderboard shows verified kilometres.

  • From 00:00 GMT on 16 December to 23:59 GMT on 31 December 2026.
  • Uploads count until 23:59 GMT on 3 January 2027.
  • Anywhere in the world: roads, trails, parks and tracks.
  • Two runs that overlap in time count once: the longer one.

Questions.

Who can enter?

Anyone, anywhere in the world, for free. Get RunFast on your phone or open it on the web, sign in or create a free account, and enter The RunFast 200 by ProLend. Entries open from 1 November.

Which runs count?

Runs from 00:00 GMT on 16 December to 23:59 GMT on 31 December 2026, recorded in RunFast or uploaded as a FIT or GPX file. If two overlap in time, the longer one counts, once.

How are uploads checked?

Automatically, and a file that fails says exactly why. Every point needs a time, the run has to start inside the dates, and it has to look recorded: times that only go forward, no jumps, a speed that fits the sport, and the sampling of a real device. A planned route’s export is refused, and so is a file or a track that has already been counted.

Does Strava count?

Once RunFast’s Strava connection opens to everyone, your Strava runs count toward your own total, your progress and your finisher card. The leaderboard shows verified kilometres only: recorded in RunFast or uploaded.

Who’s on the leaderboard?

Only entrants who turn on Show me publicly in RunFast, with their first name, last initial and country. It’s off until you turn it on.

Who shows on the map?

Only entrants recording right now who chose to be found on that run. Recording counts whether or not anyone can watch.

When do uploads close?

23:59 GMT on 3 January 2027, so a late sync still counts.
